Pastor Umo Eno, Governor-Elect, Akwa Ibom State.
Prince Archibong Life Foundation has given grant of N50,000 each to 10 widows and university scholarship to two students at a victory thanksgiving held in honour of Pastor Umo Eno, Governor-Elect, Akwa Ibom State, by the Foundation.
Speaking at the service on Sunday 2nd April, held at Believers Assembly of Nigeria, Uyo, the Foundation’s chairman, Prince Mendy Archibong, said the group is elated by the glorious victory of Pastor Umo Eno at the governorship polls, hence decided to come and thank God who granted Eno and the PDP victory in the election despite all odds.
Archibong said the Foundation decided to crown the thanksgiving with the empowerment of widows and students as a way to further demonstrate their support for the incoming administration of Pastor Eno which he said will make Akwa Ibom people proud.
He stressed that the Foundation believes in the prospects of the ARISE agenda of Pastor Eno, most especially in its plans for rural development, entrepreneurship and human capital development, which he said are in sync with the mission of Prince Archibong Life Foundation.
Archibong, who is a serial industrialist with investment interests in manufacturing, industrial chemicals, oil and gas, encouraged the congregation to give total support for the incoming administration.
“Our incoming Governor, Pastor Umo Eno is a successful entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in how to grow business to success. He will deploy that experience to help Akwa Ibom people become big entrepreneurs too, thereby creating more jobs, stimulating economic growth and wealth.”
“A lot of people misunderstood him when he talked about ‘happy hour’. When people have jobs, when businesses boom, people will naturally be happy and can celebrate such success in their own way. So what he meant was that he will have jobs, business will flourish, so it will be a period of happiness to all.”

Prelate Isaiah who took his homily from 2nd Samuel Chapter 22, said that many Christians have been “too unthankful to God and ungrateful to God” particularly for the gifts of good health and life.
While commending Prince Archibong Life Foundation which he described as a “special visionary group” for being the first to come to the cathedral from where Pastor Umo Eno was sent forth on the mission of governorship to thank God for his victory in the election, the Prelate said Eno’s victory was a victory for the Church.
The church in a thank you message to the Foundation, Hon. Justice Eme Ekong, lauded Prince Archibong Life Foundation, for choosing the Beleivers Assembly of Nigeria for their thanksgiving and for using the event to bless the lives of widows and students.
