Video: Police shot teenager.
Residents of Sapele in Delta State Nigeria, protested extension of lockdown by the State government, saying that they will die of hunger rather than the dreaded corona virus.
Attached is a video where police shot at a teenager who joined women and youths to stage a peaceful protest calling on Delta state government to provide palliative during the lockdown.
It must be noted that Nigerians have raised alarm on social media over the incessant killings by security operatives during the lockdown period declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria and some State government.
Some social media user believe that the number of death attributed to the security personnel is more than that recorded by NCDC as a result of covid 19.

Recall that we had earlier reported that women and youths numbering over hundreds marched through major streets of Sapele chanting solidarity.
The protesters said they are hungry and their businesses have crumbled without any hope to get food to eat.
The protesters however said their anger is that the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, announced an extension of the lockdown without providing food items to them.
