Two mobile police escorts and a woman identified simply as Mrs Nnamdi, have been shot dead by gunmen around water resources in Uvwie local government area of Delta state.
The escorts and the woman were shot dead on their way home from business outlet.
Mrs Nnamdi’s husband who was rushed to the hospital.
The incident occurred about 8:30pm, on Saturday May 9, 2020.
Sources said, “Mrs Nnamdi, two mobile police escorts died instantly, and Mr Nnamdi was rushed to an undisclosed hospital were he is presently in coma.

“They also shot Mr Nnamdi but he is in coma in an undisclosed hospital. Mr Nnamdi is a well known businessman who is into wholesales of assorted drinks in Warri. His shop is situated around Hausa Quarters in Igbudu community.”
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer PPRO Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the incident.
She said, “yes it’s true, it was not at water resources, but in Okpe. They were coming back from business outlet. It is true, PPRO said.”
