Thank you message to taxpayers in Akwa Ibom from AKIRS.
Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service (AKIRS) has thanked all taxpayers in Akwa Ibom State for their cooperation and voluntary compliance in the payment and remittance of their taxes for the 2022 fiscal year.
AKIRS in a thank you message signed by the Executive Chairman of the Board, Mr. Okon Okon, said the contributions of taxpayers to development of the State is “deeply appreciated”, while soliciting greater cooperation and compliance in 2023.
The agency has also wished all taxpayers a prosperous new year.
Part of the message reads, “we deeply appreciate your contributions to the development of our dear State while looking forward to your greater cooperation and compliance in 2023 fiscal year particularly as the State Government led by His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, continues to create more value for taxpayers’ money.
“We hereby urge those with outstanding taxes to pay up to avoid prosecution in the New Year.
“Wishing you all a prosperous New Year.”
