Armed Robbers have killed 10 police officers including the Divisional Police Officer, DPO of Isanlu, Kogi State,in a robbery on the police station and a first bank branch situated opposite the police station.
The Isanlu police division is located along Kaba – Kwara road in Kogi State.
The incident occurred at about 4:30p.m on Thursday 4th June.

The Dune learnt that the armed robbers attacked the police division, killed the DPO, DCO and eight other police officers who were on duty and took away their guns.
In a video sent to The Dune, corpses of the police officers killed in the attack including a woman police were being packed into a police van by people on mufti, who were crying uncontrollably over the deaths.
A police source said the armed men robbed the police station simultaneously with the bank in fear of possible neutralization by the police.
The source added that the incident took the police division unawares.
The Dune could not reach the Police Public Relations Officer in Kogi state, for comment as of the time of filling this report.
