Jos – A female aspirant for the Qua’an Pan South State Constituency seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Magdalene Dakogol has been kidnapped hours to the Party’s primary election.

Dakogol is the only female among the four contestants aspiring for the seat and she was said to be abducted on Thursday at Goeragas community of Kwalla in Qua’an Pan local government area of Plateau State while on her way to meet a delegate.

Before joining the contest, she was a former supervisory counselor for Health in Qua’an Pan Local Government Area.

Although the State Police Command did not confirm the development at the time of this report because the PPRO could not be reached, but a constituent who did not want to named said, “The Honourable was to see a delegate on Wednesday but they gave her 5:30 am of Thursday for her to meet them. She left alongside her brother to Goeragas and they could not locate the house, her brother came down from the car and went into the community to make inquiry of the house.

“He left her inside the car, but to his greatest shock, when he came back to meet her inside the car, he met the car empty but her phone was left behind.

Also, the State Publicity Secretary of APC, Sylvanus Namang confirmed the incident as he told Vanguard, ” Yes, I have heard about the incident and I have told the Chairman about it.”

Namang added he did not inform the Police because “It is not my duty to do that.”
