Jos – Rev Emmanuel Olorunmagba has clinched the House of Representatives ticket on the platform of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, beating Hon. Tayo Ibidun and Comrade Olusola Daniel in a keenly contested primary election held in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.

The exercise which was witnessed by some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, saw a large turnout of party officials, delegates, supporters, and well-wishers and was very peaceful.

After the primary election which was adjudged free, fair, and credible, various candidates emerged for the different elective offices in the state.

Olorunmagba polled 39 votes to emerge, as the winner, as Ibidun got 27 votes while Daniel got nine votes.
