A 13-year-old girl has reportedly killed herself behind total filling station near Warri main garage in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learnt that the yet to be identified teenager killed herself after she was beaten by her elder sister for having a male lover.
The incident happened on Saturday May 16.
Sources said that, “the 13-year-old drank insecticide (Angle 90) because her elder sister beat her for having a male lover.

“It is a shame The girl was seen with a man, and elder sister beat her for having a male lover at her age. She went inside and killed herself by drinking Angle 90.
“She’s too small to have man lover, don’t look at body, she is a small girl.”

“Residents of the area are angry because we all know her as a little girl, we don’t know her name but we use to see her around”.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer PPRO Onome Onovwakpoyeya could not confirmed the incident.
She said, “the one that happened was that of two weeks ago. This one is a different one. May be the matter was not reported to the police”.
