The Nigeria Police Force in Nasarawa state says it is relentless in her resolve to arrest the killers of Mrs Grace Dauda, staff of Federal Medical Center, Jabi, Abuja.

The Police found the corpse of Mrs. Dauda ‘F’ 44 years, who until her death was a staff of Federal Medical Centre Jabi, on January 6, following a complaint about her missing.

Colleagues of Mrs. Dauda, reported to the Goshen City Divisional Police on January 6 that the deceased was not at work and all effort to reach her on phone proved abortive. Her phone was switched off.

“Her absence became a thing of worry due to lack of information on her whereabouts. The police began searching for her and found her dead body on a couch with a deep cut on her forehead”, a staff of FMC told our reporter.

The sourced added that “upon receipt of the complaint, the police operatives attached to Goshen City Division moved to the spot where necessary investigation was carried and the corpse been taking to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.”

The police have said in release that the deceased neighbours and the security guard of the apartments were invited for questioning.

The neighbours were later released on administrative bail since there was no evidence that connect them with the commission of the offence, while the security guard was detained in custody and is assisting the police with the investigation.

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa state, CP Adesina Soyemi, has ordered proper investigation to get the actual fact about the murder.

While sympathizing with the deceased family and colleagues over the ugly situation, the CP said that the command will leave no stones unturn in making sure the perpetrators are arrested.
