Peace and tranquility has returned to Ogbosisi market in Naze as men of the Nigeria police force Imo command under the leadership of CP Ahmed Barde successfully crack down on the notorious criminal gang terrorizing the people and traders of the market and it environs.

The market located in Naze Owerri North local government area of the state, is a big market were building materials are sold, it has the capacity of multimillion naira transactions on daily basis.

The notorious five-man gang operates with charms, guns and other various dangerous weapons to terrorize those doing business in the area, they go as far as waylaying traders and swindle them off their valuables.

According to residents and some traders around the axis the deadly group have continued to perpetrate crime in their locality unabated, They fear no one and every attempt to arrest them has always proved abortive.

Consequently the gallant approach and resilient by the operatives of the anti-kidnapping unit of the command yeilded the desired result.

They were all apprehended, their guns, charms and other illicit substance were recovered.

Though one of them lost his life durring the operation that led to their arrest others are in police detention are Chiji Okoro, Munachi Ahunka, Kelvin Olero, Chigemezu Nduka, the police authority said they will be made to face the wrath of the law as soon as investigation is concluded.
