Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife on Thursday donated two motorised modular fumigators to the Ondo State Government as support for the fight against COVID-19.

Enitan-Ogunwusi made the presentation in Akure to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, at the government house.

The traditional ruler also provided a fumigator-drone to the state government for a period of time.

He tasked Nigerians to come up with ideas which will help stem the COVID-19 pandemic, instead of criticising other people’s ideas.

“I am leading by example for every other person to know that COVID-19 is real. We cannot continue to rest on our oars.”

“We have to look for solution internally, solution within ourselves that can take this nation to another level.”

“We are all fond of abusing our leaders, talking down on them. What are you doing to contribute your own quota to the system?” he asked.

Responding, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, thanked the Ooni for the gesture, saying that he felt honoured to receive the donation.

Akeredolu said the state will acquire more motorized modular fumigators for the state.
