The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council said it will unveil the logo for the Akwa Ibom governorship debate 2023 to the public on Thursday 15th December.

The event which will hold at the conference room, NUJ press centre, information drive, Uyo, by noon will also feature the official naming of partners and supporters of the governorship debate.

The Akwa Ibom state branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Nigerian Medical Association, Nigerian Labour Congress, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees NULGE, Clement Isong Foundation, have already been named as some of the major partners for the debate.

Chairman of the NUJ Political committee, Mr. Aniekan Udofia, said all the partners and supporters of the debate will be announced to the public at the unveiling of debate logo, disclosed that more organisations, groups and Akwa Ibom people in the diaspora have indicated interest to support the debate.

Mr Udofia who stated this on Tuesday 13th December after a meeting of the committee said the governorship debate logo unveiling will also feature unveiling of google sheet, official Facebook page and hashtag for the debate.

He said the google sheet will be accessible online to members of the public who wish to send in questions for the governorship candidates who will take part in the debate.

The Akwa Ibom Governorship debate will be held on Sunday 29th January 2023 at the Ibom Icon hotels and Golf Resort and will be broadcast live on 11 radio stations, four television stations and several online platforms.
