The Nigerian Army has said that a notorious terrorist, Terwase Akwaza popularly known as Ghana who has been terrorising most of the States in the North Central region has been killed.
General Moundhey Ali, Commander of the 4 special forces command in Doma, Nasarawa state on Tuesday while displaying the lifeless body of the notorious bandit torn by bullets, revealed that he died during a shoot out with the military troops.
Ali explained that men of operation AYEM APKATUMA III of the command killed the dreaded bandit.

“My men received credible intelligence on the whereabouts of Ghana at about 12:00pm today, we received strategic information on the movement of the dreaded bandit named Terwase Akwaza Agbadu a.k.a Ghana along Gbese-Gboko-Makurdi road.
“Troops on operation AYEM APKATUMA III moved swiftly and mounted snap road blocks along the route at 1300hrs, there was a meeting engagement with the convoy of the dreaded bandit AKA Ghana. 40 of Ghana’s men were captured in the operation, and are currently under custody to be handed over to the civil authority for prosecution”, Ali said.

General Ali told newsmen that five AK 47 rifles, one FN riffle, two beretta pistols, three pump action guns, one locally fabricated sub machine gun, 10 dane guns, 19 browsing pistols, 35 fabricated revolver pistols and two fabricated mortars were recovered during a search.
Ammunitions recovered are 766 rounds of 7.62mm special, 27.9mm rounds, 26.pump action cartridge.
Other items recovered are, two waist charms, two finger ring charms and two fabricated improvised explosives.
