Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Friday morning, stormed the residence of a former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Professor Onje Gye-Wado, and whisked him away to an unknown destination.

The heavily armed men who invaded Gwagi community in Wamba Local Government Area of the state, shot sporadically into the air to scare other residents from coming to his rescue, before abducting the former Deputy Governor.
