The abandoned child

A yet-to-be-identified parent have abandoned their three year old baby girl in Imo State, Southeast Nigeria.
The police public relations officer CSP Micheal Abattam who issued a press release on the statement shortly after the police recovered the baby where she was left abandoned by her family said, the child was found at the premises of Saint Mulumba Catholic Church along Weltheral road, Owerri.

He said, the child was found since on the 1st of January and effort made at reaching the family have yielded no result.
The police are appealing to members of the public who know the the family to contact the command through the phone number 08083031923 for possible reunion between the baby and her family.
