Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has sworn in Mr Tayo Oluwatuyi as Secretary to Ondo state government, SSG.

Mr Oluwatuyi was until his new appointment the commissioner for Natural Resources.

Describing his appointment as deserving, Governor Akeredolu encouraged Oluwatuyi to be dedicated to his new office and should not betray the trust reposed in him.

He advised politicians in the state to cast aside attitudes that could oppose security of lives and property of residents.

Governor Akeredolu who promised to remain guided by the principles of administration and prudent use of the state resources said whoever was ready to probe his administration from inception should do so.

Appreciating the Governor for the new position, the SSG Mr Oluwatuyi pledged to be loyal and add value to the government.

Dignitaries at the swearing in ceremony included the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, Venerable John Omotayo from the Anglican Communion and the Chief Imam of Akure, Alhaji Abdulhakeem Yayi-Akorede.

All COVID-19 protocols were observed during the ceremony.
