The Anambra State Police Command says it has rescued two abducted United States Consulate staff that were kidnapped in the state earlier this week.
They were rescued unhurt in the early hours of Friday 19th May 2023.
The Consulate staff were abducted during an attack on a US convoy along Atani/Osamela road in Ogbaru local government area, Anambra State.
Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra State, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga said investigation are still ongoing on the abduction of the Consulate staff.
