The Port Harcourt Local Government Area Security working with Rivers State Neighbourhood Watch and the Azikiwe Police Division in Rivers State has arrested 12 suspected internet fraudsters for burying a new born baby alive at the Andoni waterfront in Eagle island, Port Harcourt.
The suspects were arrested on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 according to the Chairman, Port Harcourt Local Government Area Security, Victor Ohaji.

Ohaji who is the Chief Security Officer of Eagle Island said he got intelligence that ‘yahoo’ boys were performing incantation at the waterfront.
“On getting to the waterfront, we saw a spot on the ground that was dug. When we dig up the spot, we exhumed the body of a new born child. The child was already dead.”
A joint manhunt for the suspects by the security organisation led to the arrest of 12 suspects.
The suspects have been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department Port Harcourt.
