Governor Sule said he was satisfied with the way and manner that the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, Nigeria Immigration Service and other security outfits in the state are working in collaboration to ensure that the state is free from bandits and kidnappers.
“Security operatives have succeeded in destroying most camps belonging to bandits, forcing them to flee the area, leaving behind their families, leaving the state government in custody of close to 500 women and children.
“The state government has reached out to both the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs, as well as the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), with a view to seeking their support in taking care of the displaced family members of the bandits”, Governor Sule said.
He expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for standing by his words to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians while appealing to residents in the state to always give Security Agencies the needed support for the betterment of the state.
