President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have been vaccinated with the Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The consignment of the Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine arrived Nigeria few days ago.
They were both vaccinated on Saturday morning at the State House, Abuja.

President Buhari after receiving the vaccination encouraged traditional and religious leaders to mobilise their followers for the vaccination.

Vice President,Yemi Osinbajo posted a message on his timeline on Facebook shortly after receiving the vaccination. The message reads, “the vaccine offers hope for a safe country free of Coronavirus.”
