The Council of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, has conferred Fellowship status on the Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom Internal Revenue Service, AKIRS, Mr. Okon Okon.
Fellowship is the peak in hierarchy of membership of the CITN.
Mr. Okon was inducted into the highest rank of membership of CITN on Saturday 15th October, 2022, at the 2022 Fellowship Conferment Ceremony held in Lagos State.
The President/Chairman of Council of CITN, Chief Adesina Adedayo, decorated Mr. Okon with a sash symbolising his formal upgrade to the status of a Fellow of the Institute.
