Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state has completed the construction of the administrative block at Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Academy, Udi.
The block will facilitate the opening of an African regional center for Road Safety studies.

The Corps Marshal of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, who shared pictures of the recently completed Administrative Block of the FRSC Academy Udi, Enugu, the completion of the building marked the fulfilment of Enugu state government’s pledge to build the admin block.
Osita Chidoka a former Corps Marshal of FRSC while reacting to the development said former governor Sullivan Chime, donated the land for the location of the Academy at Udi Enugu and pledged to build the admin block and construct internal roads in the premises.
Chime could not complete the project at the expiration of his tenure.
Chidoka wrote, “my appreciation to Chime for his unparalleled support of the project at a time many forces rose against him. Sullivan is a good man.

“My appreciation also goes to Governor Ugwuanyi for completing the project and staying the course, Thank you. Deje.
“To Corps Marshal Oyeyemi the quote that there is no success without a successor is most appropriate. Thank you. The dream of an African regional center for Road Safety studies will yet come to fruition one block at a time.”
Governor Ugwuanyi has completed the FRSC administration block and tarred internal roads in the academy.
