The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS 5.2 have urged drivers and road users to be conscious when driving/using road during this ember months in order to get to their destination sound and healthy.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS 5.2 Delta state, Mr Udeme Eshiet, disclosed this at the 2023 Ember- months public enlightenment and road safety campaign in Asaba the Delta state capital.
According to him, “speed thrills but kills, drive responsibly and avoid overloading
“This year enlightenment campaign is to educate the road users to avoid overload, extra light in their vehicles, making calls while driving and night driving.
“I appealed to drivers, road users to be conscious in this EMBER months that only the living can celebrate” .
While Addressing drivers at Benin/ Asaba park, at the toll gate and koka Junction in Asaba, Delta State, the sector commander told drivers that, “reckless driving, overload, night driving is dangerous.
“As EMBER Months begins, be careful in your driving, make sure all the necessary components in your vehicle is in other, Eshiet advised road users.

The commander also While addressing his staff on how the command will make easy flow of traffic during the EMBER months, He acknowledge the Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Marshall Dauda Biu for early enlightenment campaign as the EMBER Months began.
He charged his staff to “ensure that the flow of traffic is contained in an appropriate manner.
He added that “your vehicles will be well take care off for any emergency.”
