Jos – Five people have been confirmed dead and three others injured during separate attacks in some communities in Bassa local government area of Plateau State.
The incidents happened on Monday night and the victims were attacked at Mararaban Tipper, Kpara village, and along Gero road.
Confirming the situation, Davidson Malison, the National Publicity Secretary, Irigwe Development Association, IDA said, “Three women were killed at Mararaban Tipper along Nzhwerenvi village. One man was killed at Kpara village and one was ambushed along Gero Road while returning from a Tin mining site. He was taken to the hospital and later gave up his ghost.

“Three people sustained gunshots injuries and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital. A bus was burnt down and motorcycles were carted away. The attack happened on the night of March 28, 2022, between 7 pm and 8 pm. Details of casualties are as follow Talatu (Isho) Benson- 45 years old, Talatu Danladi – 33 years old, Mama Danladi – 15 years old, James Yah – 42 years old, and Adamu Amedi. The injured persons are Godiya Danladi, Redzie Ive, and Alheri Danladi.”
