In commemoration of this year’s Democracy Day celebration, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has tasked citizens to support their leaders at all levels and give government the maximum support to deliver for the people.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Jibrin Gwamna, said Speaker Abdullahi described the day as unique and historic in the journey of the nation and worth celebrating.
He also felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and the entire residents of the state on this year’s democracy day celebration.

Speaker Abdullahi while assuring that the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly under his watch will continue to do its best in ensuring that the much needed dividends of democracy is provided to the people, he hailed and acknowledged the giant contributions of the nation’s founding fathers whom he said their efforts will never go in vain.
“The citizens should keep hope alive, support government and leaders at all levels to succeed and continue to pray for the nation to overcome its security, economy and other challenges for the benefit of all,” he added.
