The Committee for the Defense of Human Right (CDHR) Delta state branch has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu over a missing woman, Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru.
CDHR in a statement says, Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru who was residing at T394, Chelsea Bakery street by Miracle School Junction, Madalla, Abuja, with her husband, Dennis Enakireru, has not been found.
The petition signed by Mr. Jonathan Gaima, secretary, Committee for the Defense of Human Right (CDHR) Delta state branch says Rahab’s husband claims she is dead but has not been able to substantiate his claim of her death.

Rahab has been married to Mr. Dennis Enakireru since 2014.
Part of the petition reads:
“That on/about 15/1/2020, Mr. Dennis Enakireru sent an SMS message to Mrs. Ruth Aneke, the immediate elder sister to Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru claiming that Mrs. Rahab had died during child birth at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.”
“Mr. Dennis Enakireru failed to provide evidence of Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru death before his wife’s family and has unilaterally organized a sham funeral without the presence of the family members of his wife and has also been unable to disclose the location where he claimed to have buried the remains of Mrs Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru.”

“It appears that the said Mrs Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru was kidnapped by Mr. Dennis Enakireru since January 15, 2020 and her alleged burial was faked and feigned to mislead members of families of Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru and unsuspecting members of the public from locating her whereabouts till date.”

“All efforts by Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakirerus family to locate the whereabout of Mrs. Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru has proved abortive as Mr. Dennis Enakireru has resulted to threat and intimidation on the family members of Mrs Rahab Agbonmere Enakireru in order to conceal the truth”.
Mr. Dennis Enakireru is a personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) attached to Kado Print Farm Abuja.
