An usher at Abba Father Kingdom Church in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State have killed a chorister of the church on suspicion of having a sexual affair with her fiancé.
The usher whose name was given as Joy Titilayo stabbed one Ms. Kosiso Chukwuemeka, to death with a scissors on Friday 14th April in Eke Obosi, Idemili North local government area.
Ms. Chukwuemeka aside worshipping in the same church with Ms. Titilayo, was also an apprentice learning fashion designing under her killer.
Anambra State police command said the suspect who is now in custody stabbed her apprentice to death over suspicion of infidelity with her fiancé, one Oluwaseun Samson, who is also a chorister at the Abba Father Kingdom Church.
“She is being held at the homicide section of the state criminal investigation department”, the Police spokesperson person DSP Ikenga Tochukwu said.

The police said a post-mortem was carried out on the corpse and the suspect will be charged to court next week.

The suspect was arrested following an alarm raised by human rights activist, Kelvin Ejumudo.
The Dune learnt that the suspect had accused her deceased apprentice of having an affair with her fiancé, an accusation the deceased denied.
The accusation caused a face-off between the suspect and the deceased, a situation which caused the deceased to stop going to work at her trainer’s shop.
Ejumudo said, “the suspect called Ms. Chukwuemeka to come over to the shop so that they can talk things over and put the issues behind them so that she can continue with her apprenticeship to be able to meet up with the completion of her training later this month (May). She never knew that her madam and supposed mentor was planning to take her life that fateful day. When she got to the shop, the madam started a fight with her and stabbed her on the neck with a scissors and she died.”
Elder sister to the deceased, Chidinmma Chukwuemeka, said her younger sister, a mother of two children had repeatedly told her trainer that she was not having an affair with her boyfriend.
She said her late sister was worried by the negative attitude of her boss towards her and went to enquire what the issue was, it was then that her boss told her that she has been suspecting her of having an affair with her boyfriend.
“My sister told her that she is a mother of two and can never contemplate snatching her boyfriend, despite all the assurances, she didn’t believe her. She (Ms. Titilayo) kept on threatening her. She had threatened to kill her on many occasions, saying that nothing will happen when she kills her. She sent a threat voice note to my sister.”
She said her late sister stayed back from the training because of the threats from her boss, but surprisingly her boss came and apologize to her, asking her to return to work.
