One Kenneth Lupor Mukoro who is a youth pastor at Living Faith Church better known as Winners Chapel has reportedly killed a woman who tried to mediate in a disagreement between the pastor and his neighbour.

Mukoro who is graduate of law from Delta State University, DELSU, allegedly killed the woman identified as Mrs. Irene Thompson Kupa, last Sunday at about 6:30pm at Aruorho Quarters of Otu-Jeremi, traditional/administrative headquarters of Ughievwen Kingdom and Ughelli South.

It was gathered that the incident occurred when the deceased was making peace during a disagreement between the suspect and his neighbour.

Mrs Irene Thompson Kupa, hailed from Isoko area of Delta state.

”Mrs Irene died while trying to mediate between Mr Kenneth and his neighbour. The said Kenneth is a youth pastor at the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel).”

”Kenneth hit the deceased on the head with a piece of wood. The deceased was rushed to the Otu-Jeremi General Hospital before being referred to another hospital in Warri, she reportedly gave up the ghost on the way to the hospital”, a resident who witnessed the incident said.

Police operatives at the Otu-Jeremi divisional police station were said to have arrested the suspect who is said to be warming up to contest the chairmanship election of Otughievwen community coming later this year.

When contacted for comments, the state commissioner of police, Mr Adeyinka Adeleke, confirmed the incident but did not confirm the arrest of the suspect.

However, sources at the Ughelli Police Area Command confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
