Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has expressed shock over the sudden death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.
He described late Nwakaudu as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of the thrust of his administration.
The governor on behalf of his family, the government and good people of Rivers state condoled with the bereaved family.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim, Governor Wike prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
Late Nwakaudu died on Sunday at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) after a brief illness.
In the meantime, the total lockdown in Obio-Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Areas of Rivers State is expected to resume today by 8pm.
The Governor Wike had last week when he extended the lockdown break to four days, declared that the lockdown will resume on Sunday, 17th May, 2020.
Wike said the move is aimed to increase contact – tracing.
