Repentant cultists in Ibaa community, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State have been allegedly compelled to take oath of denunciation by the Ibaa Security Peace and Advisory Committee, ISPAC.
Sources told our correspondent that more than 300 repentant cultists in Ibaa community took the oath in the shrine of ISPAC.
The Dune learnt that the vigilante had dished out threats to the repentant cultists, demanding them to take oath to prove their total denunciation of cultism.

Over 300 repentant cultists have embraced the oath-taking from the shrine of ISPAC following threat by the vigilante.
Our correspondent reports that some of the repentant cultists said they took the oath to demonstrate their willingness to embrace peace.
The repentant cultists while calling on those who are yet to embrace the existing peace in Ibaa to urgently do so, insisted that forgiveness and integration are the way forward for peace in the community.

Earlier, the Chief security officer of Ibaa Security Peace and Adversary Committee, Ohaka Obisike and the Secretary, Livingston-chikakpobi while warning anyone who had engaged in cult related activities to come for the oath-taking, said the 21 days ultimatum still stands.
Several people have been killed in cult-related crisis in Ibaa community, with several people killed and beheaded while families flee their homes.
