A drunk officer of the Nigeria Police Force who was filmed staggering around CBN junction in Abuja has been arrested by the FCT police command.
Police Public Relations Officer, FCT, ASP Yusuf Mariam said the police officer will be subjected to psychological and medical examination.
Mariam also said that the affected officer will face disciplinary actions.

In an a short video seen by The Dune, the drunk policeman identified as Garba Salisu was supported by passersby and aided to sit on a concrete slab. A cold sachet of water was poured on his head, while he sits gazing at the crowd around him.
The Commissioner of Police, FCT command, Bala Ciroma said that the behaviour portrayed by the Policeman in the video does not depict the standard discipline of the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP while urging residents to remain calm, reiterated the unflinching commitment of the police command to the protection of lives and property in the Federal Capital Territory.
