A mentally unstable woman has been delivered of a set of triplet in Aviara, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The woman identified as Elili Mary gave birth to the babies at Government Hospital, Aviara. She has given birth to seven children before now.
The father of Mary Elili’s children, Shadrach Obaro, is also mentally unstable, according to residents of the community.

This reporter gathered that the couple have had seven children already who are not living with them.
Speaking to this reporter, Aviara Clan Public Relation Officer, Prince Pius Evro, said, “on hearing that, the mentally unstable woman, Mary Elili has delivered a set of triplet in Government Hospital Aviara, and no one to take care of the woman and her triplets, the President General of Aviara Clan, Mr Counsellor Umulor mandated me and the Clan Youth Governor, Gibson Omodekah to visit her.
“Getting there, the condition we found her and her babies was so touching, there is no one to take care of her and the babies. The father of the babies, Shadrach Obaro is mentally unstable and nowhere to be found.
“The babies need urgent medical attention as well as proper care in order to survive. We are therefore soliciting for the support of our State Government through the 05 Initiative of the wife of the Governor of Delta State, Dame Edith Okowa, to assist us in taking over the babies in order for them to have good upkeep”, Prince Evro added.
