The Baba Alakoso of Cherubim and Seraphim in Akure and its environ and the Ondo state President of the unification of C&S, Primate Ade Ademisokun Turton, says for Nigeria to move out of its current socioeconomic doldrum, there must be complete restructuring.

Speaking with The Dune correspondent on the probabilities for the next general elections, Primate Turton, the Head of Success Gate Ministry Worldwide said without a change in the system of governance in Nigeria things may move from bad to worse.

He said with the way the federating system is being run in Nigeria, the coming regime may not do better than what is happening right now which could make the people to commend the current situation as bad as it may seem.

Primate Turton said what is totally missing in Nigeria is purposeful governance gazetted to better the lots of the people regardless of status, class and tribe.

He posited that despite huge and enormous resources the country is blessed with, no meaningful progress can take place when those in charge of governance are not ready to make positive impact.

The clergy frowned at Nigerian politicians saying many of them are only looking for what the can get and do not care about the future of the country.

He said actions of politicians in Nigeria have shown clearly that many of them should not be allowed to hold sensitive leadership position in the country.

Speaking further, Primate Turton who is popularly known as Baba Onibode charged government at all levels to work on security network of the country saying banditry and all other criminal activities should be nipped in the bud to ensure that Nigerians have peace of mind in and around their places of abode.

He called on the federal government to give credence to creation of state and community policing to support effort of the Nigeria police and the military, noting that state and community police will go a long way to identify criminals among the people anywhere in the country.

The Primate charged governors to infuse more funds into security funding particularly in procurement of high-tech gadgets to enhance security, and prayed that the country will get it right soon and her lost glory restored.
