One Eromonsele Mahmud has been paraded by the Rivers State Police Command for alleged impregnating his sixteen year old daughter.
The 47 year old Mahmud who hails from Esokor West local government area of Edo state disclosed how he has been sleeping with his daughter since 2017, an act which he blamed on spiritual manipulations.
Mahmud who was apprehended by the Rivers state ministry of social welfare and rehabilitation and handed to police also disclosed that he was no longer with the mother of the victim, adding that they parted ways when the victim was three years old.

The father of the sixteen year old girl insisted that the two months pregnancy of his daughter should not be terminated.
“This is a battle I have been fighting since, I know all this is spiritually connected, I will overcome, it all started since my wife left me when my daughter was three years, at eleven, I started having carnal language of my daughter, but I will plead let the pregnancy don’t be terminated, I will take full responsibility”.
Parading the man at the Command Headquarters on Moscow road, the Public Relations Officer of the command, Nnamdi Omoni who is a Deputy Superintendent Of Police told newsmen that the command is investigating the matter and would arraign the suspect in court at the end of the investigation
On his part, a staff of State Ministry of Social Welfare and rehabilitation, Kaine Harry said that the Ministry was alerted by ‘Doctors without borders’ about the incident before the Ministry in turn reported to the Police.
