‘Kill and bury’ with his gang member paraded by police

Rivers State Police Command have arrested one of the leaders of cult gangs terrorizing parts of Ogoniland identified as Barididum Danaa who is popularly called “kill and bury” and one of his lieutenants.
Danaa led operatives of the command to a forest at Bera community, a neighbouring community to B-dere in Gokana Local Government Area of the state where decomposed corpses of three slain victims were exhumed by the police.

The incident resulted to wild jubilation in B-dere community as some community members, including the father of one of the slain victims showered praise on the Nigeria Police, saying that the arrest of the deadly cultist terrorizing the village has brought sigh of relieve to them.
According to the people, they claimed that available information suggest that the cultists killed the victims because they accused them of giving information to security agencies that led to arrest of their gang members.
Speaking to newsmen at the scene of the crime, Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers State Command, Nnamdi Omoni explained that the three deceased victims, identified as Baridomale Sunday Tor, Baridon Gbarabera Asah and Barisiton Nawee were declared missing on 14th of March, 2020 which drew the attention of the police.

Omoni who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police said following discreet investigation by the men of Anti-Cultism commander, the main suspect Barididum Danaa Aka kill and bury ‘ was arrested and his confession led to the arrest of another member of the group which he said led to the achievement.
The arrested suspected cult leader who confessed that he runs an illegal oil bunkery, also admitted that his gang killed and buried the victims.
