The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has announced the appointment of Temitayo Oluwatuyi “Tukana” as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The appointment follows the resignation of Ifedayo Abegunde from the position.
Ifedayo Abegunde popularly known as “Abena” told journalists earlier today that he has resigned his appointment.
In a telephone chat with Journalists, Abegunde said he has tendered his resignation letter.
“I have quit Akeredolu’s government through a resignation letter”, he said.

Rumour was rife three weeks ago that Abegunde will join the State Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi in moving to the PDP but he denied the story.
He said his next line of actions politically would soon be communicated in the next 24 hours.
Abegunde has been absent at government functions in the last three months.
