The measure is to address the delay in the trial of suspects occasioned by transportation and security logistics problems involved in daily movement of suspects on trial in courts from Correctional Center in Akure to the other parts of the state.

The two new criminal high court will now sit daily at high court 6/7 at high court complex in Oba Osupa , hospital road Akure.

This step is aimed at fast tracking hearing of criminal cases and the decongestion of Correctional Centers in Ondo state.
