Ondo State House of Assembly has amended the State’s 2021 Appropriation Law. It approved the pooling of N3.196 billion from recurrent expenditure in the budget and the re-allocate the funds among existing programmes within the recurrent component.

The amendment has not alterated the budget size.

The House also approved the pooling of the N9.974 billion from capital expenditure component of the 2021 Budget and the re-allocation of the funds amongst existing projects in the capital expenditure component without any alteration to the budget size.

At the sitting presided over by the Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun, the Lawmakers approved that the State Government should ensure that the provision of the re-ordered funds are conscientiously applied to the needs stated therein so that the good intention behind the dispensation would be fully attained.
