The Nasarawa State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, has arrested five suspects for allegedly engaging in homosexuality in Doma and Lafia Local Government Areas of the state.
In a statement made available to Journalists in Lafia on Monday, the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Jerry Victor, said the suspects who had been on the wanted list of the NSCDC, were arrested at different locations in Lafia and Doma LGAs.
According to the statement, those arrested are; Muhammed Zanwa, 28 years old,
Allu Patrick, 28 years old and Mohammed Murasaki, 17 years old,
Others are Ali Abubakar Abati, 27 years old, and Shuaibu Yusuf, 28 years old respectively.

“Upon interrogation, the suspects all admitted to have been indulging in this dastardly act for some years now and pleaded for mercy.
“investigation into the crime is ongoing, after which, they will be charged to court for prosecution to serve as a deterrent to others,” the statement reads in part.
The statement further added that the State Commandant, Bappa Muhammed, frowned at the unfortunate and unholy act, and appealed to all parents and guardians across the 13 LGAs of the state to ensure that they always check the attitude of their children and wards in order to give them good upbringings.
