The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule has appointed a new chief press secretary in the person of Mr. Ibrahim Inuwa Addra.

Mr Addra hails from Doma Local Government Area of the state. He was until his appointment a correspondent with Channels Television in Abuja.

He served as the CPS to late former governor Aliyu Akwe Doma from 2007 to 2011.

Speaking via telephone, the new CPS thanked the governor for the opportunity given to him to serve.

He promise to do his best to project the governor and government in good light to the public.

The statement announcing his appointment was signed by the secretary to the state government, Barr Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu on Thursday in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

“In furtherance to the commitment of the present administration to strengthen the public service for improved service delivery, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, governor of Nasarawa state has approved the appointment of Ibrahim Inuwa Addra as the chief press secretary to the governor of Nasarawa state. The appointment is with effect from 1st July, 2020″, he said.
