One of the 2019 gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa state, Musa Maikaya has appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule for more infrastructural developments in Toto Local Government Area.
Maikaya made the appeal on Tuesday in Toto while speaking with newsmen on the need for more infrastructural developments in the area.

According to him, “Toto LGA supported the Governor in the 2019 election but it is very difficult for one to recognise that the LGA is truly part of Nasarawa State in terms of infrastructural development. There are developmental strides are going on in some parts of the state, we want to see those things happen in Toto as well”.
Maikaya explained that the LGA is in need of a higher institution, good roads and functional electricity as residents of the area have been in darkness for over nine years.
“There is no presence of the state owned Radio and Television which is the Nasarawa Broadcasting Service, so how do you inform the people of the LGA about happenings in the state”, he lamented.
He, however, thanked the Governor for being able to tackle insecurity in the area in two years of his administration, saying that, “before the Governor emerged, the area was taken over by insurgents but he did his best to address the issue and I appreciate him for his efforts”.
