A former gubernatorial aspirant in the 2023 general elections in Akwa Ibom State, Mr. James Iniama has called on the commissioner from Itu LGA, Dr. Henry Archibong to see his dual leadership responsibilities as opportunity to unite the people and an avenue to accord respect to elders and his constituents devoid of existing tyranny, considering their voluntary political services to the state and the LGA in particular.
The call by Iniama was contained in a goodwill message to Archibong, during his swearing in by the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Umo Eno into the state Executive Cabinet, as the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Housing on Monday.
“One of the expectations we, your kinsmen have in this era of the twin Political Status God has graciously thrust on you is the opportunity for elders and the people of Itu LGA to be accorded the minimum respect devoid of tyranny in their voluntary political service to the LGA and AKS.
“I am sure that you will dedicate this elevation to the Almighty God whose ways are past finding out. You are the best Gov. Umoh Eno has given us in the midst of all who desired to be so appointed.
“Congratulations. God is with you and will prosper your thoughts in this new responsibility”, he prayed.
