Emir of Kano Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II
The Kano State Executive Council has unanimously approved the dethronement of the Emir of Kano Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II at a special sitting by the council on held on Monday 9th March.
Special Adviser Media to the Governor of Kano state, Halihu Tanko Yakasai, broke the news on the official Facebook page of the Kano state government house, at few minutes past mid day.
The Dune had earlier reported that there was a fight at the plenary of the Kano state House of Assembly which stalled the submission of report which recommends that dethronement of the Emir.
