The governorship aspirant of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), in Nasarawa state, Mr. Jatua Makama, said he will champion the cause of youths in Nasarawa State.
Jatua disclosed this while presiding over caucus meeting of the party in Lafia, the state capital.
He said if voted in to office, his plans are to prioritize the cause of youths in the state and will build skills acquisition centres across the state where youths will be adequately trained in their preferred field of interest.

According to Jatua, “If I become the Governor I will meet with all youths in the state and ask them what they want and train them on instead of allowing them to move around on the street. There is no government job anywhere now.
“On the Agriculture sector I have seen that people are not longer interested in any hard labour now, I will encourage a mechanized system of farming by giving farmers tractors to enhance their farming as that enable them to harvest more agricultural produce.
He also promised to address health care system where people of Nasarawa state would have easy access to health facilities across the state.
Mr. Makama called on the youths of State to support his gubernatorial ambition and as well vote for YPP in the 2023 general election for the interest of young people and development of Nasarawa state.
