In a bid to ensure unhindered growth of the state, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has granted the request of Governor Abdullahi Sule to appoint five more Special Advisers.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, made the disclosure during the House sitting on Monday in Lafia.
He explained that the additional five Special Advisers were to assist the Governor in the task of ensuring that the dividends of democracy get to every residents of the state.
He said, “This House has accordingly approved five additional Special Advisers for appointment by Governor Abdullahi Sule based on his request. We wish him well in his efforts of providing good governance to the people”.

Speaker Balarabe-Abdullahi, directed the clerk of the House to produce a clean copy of the House resolution for the Governor’s further necessary action.
Earlier, the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Tanko Tunga, while presenting Governor Sule’s letter said that he was seeking for the approval of additional five Special Advisers who will join him in taking Nasarawa state to greater heights.
It would be recalled that in 2019, the House had approved for the appointment of 15 Special Advisers and with this development, the Governor will have the powers to appoint upto 20 indigenes and non-indegenes alike resident in the state as Special Advisers.
