The Delta State Executive Council (Exco) on Tuesday approved the construction of a 500-capacity auditorium for School of Health Technology, Ofuoma.
Exco approved the furnishing of central secretariat, rehabilitation of 11 roads in Uvwie,and Warri.
Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, told journalists at a post-exco briefing in Asaba that the exco chaired by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa approved the 500-capacity audotorium for School of Health Technology, Ofuoma.
“At the meeting, a 500-sitting capacity auditorium was approved for School of Health Technology, Ofuoma and soon, you will see our men working on our roads to ensure that motorists plying the roads are happy.

“Also, Exco approved the furnishing of the multi-billion naira central secretariat complex which implies that civil servants will before the end of this year, move into the secretariat complex.”
In line with the urbanization programme of Okowa’s administration, the state executive council also approved construction of Isiokolo internal roads, roads in Obinomba, and Owa-Eke.
Approval was also given for the construction of Ekuku-Agbor/Agbor Obi road, Obomkpa road, Omene Street connecting Akintola Road, Sapele, Darfruks Road, Otefe.

Also, 11 roads were approved for rehabilitation and 11 kilometre drainage was approved for construction in Warri and Uvwie.
The council also reviewed the estate road project at Ugbolu.
