A​ Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt has struck out a criminal case filed against former Managing Director of Rivers State Microfinance Agency, RIMA, Ipalibo Walson Sogules, former​ head SMEs, Nimi Harry; Head Finance and Accounts, Ukele Okorji and former Internal Auditor of the agency, Sofiri Koko.

The four defendants were standing trail on a two count charge of conspiracy and advanced fee fraud of over N13 million.

Chief Magistrate A .O. Amadi-Nna struck out the matter following an application by the State Attorney General, Zacheaus Adango to discontinue the matter.

Citing section 108 subsection 2 of the Rivers State criminal and administration Justice Law, the Commissioner for Justice, Adangor, entered a nole prosequè and pleaded with the court to set the accused free.
