Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono Itam has led police officers in the state to the shooting range as part of ongoing training to enhance operational efficiency of personnel.
CP Itam was at the shooting range to assess the schedule of the ongoing training of personnel designed to enhance operational efficiency in crime prevention strategies, building courage and confidence in confronting armed hoodlums and responding to distress calls.
Police public relations officer in the State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the Commissioner charged police operatives to be on the offensive against all armed criminals.
He reiterated the Command’s commitment to improving public safety and enforcing law and order in the State, warning those who were misled to take to crime to retrace their steps as the Police and other security agencies will not allow criminals to make life unbearable for the residents of the State.
