Dr. Godwin Ntuk Udeh, who has been reappointed Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructure Maintenance Agency, AKROIMA, has told staff of the agency to brace up for the task ahead.
Dr. Ntuk Udeh met with staff of AKROIMA on Wednesday after he was reappointed by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
He said, “there is a lot of work to be done. We have come back here to work for the completion agenda and the satisfaction of Governor Udom Emmanuel. I am saying this because my Bible tells me to work for the satisfaction of the king.

“I have come with renewed grace, spirit and energy to work for His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel and the people of Akwa Ibom state. Our people want to see quality infrastructure that is well maintained, so we owe the Governor who assembled us here to work that duty.”
He thanked staff of AKROIMA for coming out to welcome him and renewing the bond of working relationship, promised to introduce a reward system that would encourage hard work and productivity among staff of the agency.
Dr. Ntuk Udeh thanked the governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, for finding him to be reappointed Executive Chairman of the agency, pledged to reciprocate the confidence reposed on him by working harder to ensure that all infrastructure in the state are in good state.

Responding, the Head of administration of AKROIMA, Mr. Michael Effiong, said staff of the agency are happy to have Dr. Ntuk Udeh return as Executive Chairman of AKROIMA, noting that his reappointment will ensure seamless continuity of the jobs that were ongoing at the time the tenure of the previous Board elapsed.
“It would not have been easy if it was a new person that was appointed as Chairman of this Board. We thank the Governor for sending Dr Ntuk Udeh back to AKROIMA. Staff are happy to receive him and we pledge to stand with him, we will work as a team and will not disappoint him”, Effiong.
