Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mukan has decorated 19 police officers who were promoted from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police, SP.
Decorating the promoted officers CP Mukan, encouraged the promoted officers to be diligent to duties and see their promotion as call for more commitment, assured them of the support of the command.

CP Mukan commended the Inspector General of Police for finding the officers worthy of the promotion just as he charged the officers to ensure uprightness and good relationship in course of discharging their responsibilities.
Responding on be half of the newly promoted officers, Suprindentent of Police, SP Nnamdi Omoni who is currently the Public Relations Officer of the command assured that they would do all within their reach to justify the promotion invested in them.
